Combe Hill.

Combe Hill is a grade II listed country house dating from 1789 set in 47 acres of woodland and park landscape.

In November 2008 whilst undergoing renovation the house was very nearly destroyed by fire.

By morning the roof and top floor had been consumed with extensive damage to the remaining house. What was left suffered open to the elements before a scaffold shroud could be designed and erected.

The SCD Partnership undertook the complicated process of restoring the listed structure, yet at the same time complying with the latest building regulations, making appropriate improvements where needed and satisfying the needs of the owners and insurers.

The works were completed in just 12 months from the fire.
