Fullands Court is a development of thirty sheltered cottages and flats built on behalf of The English Courtyard Association clustered around the listed buildings of Fullands House and cottage. All the accommodation has been built to a very high standard and benefits from the services of a resident warden complete with Aid-call facilities.
The new buildings have been designed to complement the existing house and create a protected and safe retirement haven complete with landscaped grounds. Each flat and linked cottage has its own garage nearby.
Although Fullands House and Cottage were listed Grade 2, they hav e undergone complete reconstruction retaining their period integrity yet gaining from modern facilities and insulation standards.
The development has gained two local awards from the Civic Society and the Borough Council in recognition of the quality of design in building and landscape.
