Having successfully completed a detached pool building for the same client the practice was appointed to carry out remodelling and extensions to the existing farmhouse.
It was felt that recent works carried out by the previous owners did little for the integrity of the building.
Peter Davis saw his opportunity to fulfil the clients brief by largely removing these additions and unifying the buildings appearance using carefully selected local stone coupled with sensitive traditional detailing and oak joinery. The new planting and stone garden walling matching the house anchors the building to its site.
