Parsonage Farm Pool

A modern self contained pool building set within the grounds of a house.

The roof, a traditional element of clay tiles relates well to its surroundings and the existing house. Its simple form disguises the more complicated geometry of the roof structure.

The building is supported on a laminated timber portal frame manufactured and supplied from Germany. The walls are non load bearing allowing large areas of window. This device links the pool to its garden context and allows the creation of covered external areas.

The building is highly insulated, the pool being heated and intended for use year round.
